  • Anne Raciunas

    Anne Raciunas

    A graduate of the University of Guelph, Anne currently resides in Collingwood with her family. Anne is an Associate Producer with Theatre Collingwood, and has been involved with a number of local community theatre organizations and independent projects over the last 15 years. She has worked with Gaslight Community Theatre Productions for seven years as a director and actor in their annual historical tours, Page-to-Stage program, as well as for their first full-length production (Daniel MacIvor’s Marion Bridge).

    ​ Following her participation as a volunteer actor in 2018 (As You Like It) and Front of House Manager in 2019 (The Comedy of Errors), Anne officially joined Theatre Georgian Bay as a Collective Member in September of 2019. She is delighted and honoured to work alongside such talented, dedicated artists.

  • Candy Pryce

    Candy Pryce

    Candy has been a Barrie resident for over twenty years and involved in central Ontario theatre as an actor, director, and administrator. She has acted professionally for various companies including The Orillia Opera House, Theatre by the Bay, The Humber River Shakespeare Co., Talk Is Free Theatre, and Theatre Collingwood. In addition to directing for TGB, Candy has directed for the central Ontario community theatres the Kempenfelt Community Players, Mariposa Arts Theatre, and The South Simcoe Theatre. In addition, since returning to professional acting a dozen years or so ago, Candy has completed about seventy TV/Film/Voice Over projects including educational videos of Hamlet, Romeo & Juliet, and Macbeth, independent features, TV shows, short films playing at various festivals (including TIFF), video games, training videos, and commercials. Candy holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from York University and a BEd in Drama and English from Ottawa U.

  • Chloë Rose Flowers

    Chloë Rose Flowers

    Chloë Rose Flowers is an award-winning actor, director, producer and playwright. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Drama, Theatre, and Performance Specialist program. Following her participation as an Assistant Producer on Theatre Georgian Bay’s Romeo & Juliet, Chloë officially joined TGB as a Collective Member. Chloë recently produced the inaugural Simcoe County Theatre Festival with Theatre By The Bay as a part of their Indie Producer’s Co-op. She was also recently an Executive Producer for the SMC Troubadours 2021-2022 season. Favourite performance credits include Brutus in Julius Caesar, Cassandra in Agamemnon, Alycone in Metamorphoses, and Maria in the Sound of Music.

  • Heather Dennis

    Heather Dennis

    Heather is a professional actor based in Simcoe County. Favourite credits outside of TGB include: Kathleen Barwick in We Must Have More Men! (Theatre By The Bay), Macduff in Macbeth (Burro’d), Rosalind in As You Like It (TBTB), and Columbia in The Rocky Horror Show (The Loft). Heather also enjoys working as a director and choreographer; she has choreographed productions of Matilda, Mary Poppins, Shrek, Hello Dolly! and Little Shop of Horrors, to name a few. When not on the stage or appearing on screen, Heather is working as a dance instructor and drama coach at Moving Art Centre in Barrie – training the next generation of performance artists. She holds her ISTD teacher credentials in Tap Dance and Modern Theatre, but also teaches ballet, lyrical, jazz, musical theatre and song & dance. Heather’s students compete all over Ontario, winning accolades and overall awards for their hard work and her choreography. Heather is a proud graduate of the joint Theatre & Drama Studies program at the University of Toronto Mississauga and Sheridan College.

  • Nadia Hovan

    Nadia Hovan

    Co-Founder of Theatre Georgian Bay, a native of Vancouver and a (long time ago) graduate of the musical theatre program at the Randolph College for the Performing Arts in Toronto, Nadia has found home in Collingwood.

    Although she spent decades working as a professional actor across Canada, Nadia loves creating content for the film/tv industry. Currently the Director of Script Development for Vortex Media, she has received numerous producing/development credits for movies on Lifetime, W Network, Sy Fy, Tubi, Corus and the Hallmark Channel.

  • Richard Varty

    Richard Varty

    Richard has been working in the arts for over 15 years as an actor, director, producer, and stage manager among others. Since graduating from Brock University's Dramatic Arts program, Richard has worked with various theatre companies including Theatre by the Bay, Burro'd, Theatre Aurora, South Simcoe Theatre, and Talk is Free Theatre. Some of his favorite credits include Little Shop of Horrors, I Hate Hamlet, and God of Carnage (SST), Northern Lights and We Must Have More Men! (TBTB), The Rocky Horror Show (The Loft), Thunderlizard!: A Junkie Opera (Epicurean), Robin Hood & his Merry Men? (Theatre Aurora), and Swell (Reject Productions & Twelve Fold Theatre). He is the former Director of Outreach at Talk Is Free Theatre and former Youth Program Director at Theatre Aurora.

  • Jackie-Rose Brown

    Jackie-Rose Brown*

    Jackie-Rose Brown is a professionally trained singer/actor who has almost 10 years in the industry. Originally from Owen Sound, she has worked in children's theatre, film, musical theatre and classical theatre. Some of her favourite roles include; Cathy (The Last 5 Years), Juliet (Romeo & Juliet), Sleeping Beauty (Disenchanted) and Chelsea (No Chance In Hell). Since moving to Guelph, Jackie-Rose has begun teaching voice and piano at C&C Music School in Guelph and vocal directing for Little Monkey Entertainment.
